PC購入アドバイス？？その６（転載）

現在所有のPCの高速化改造・延命改造・機能付加についてです

◆高速化で一番簡単な方法はメモリの増設です。　
メモリを128・256・512MB増設することによって
基本処理速度は飛躍的に上昇します。

メーカ製のPCの場合推奨メモリがありますので
それにあわせて増設されれば良いでしょう
128MB・4000円 256MB・6000円 512MB・13000円　
位からで量販家電店でも販売されています
お店に頼む場合取り付け料金が、3000円くらい掛かりますが
十分注意を払っていれば30分もあれば出来ると思います
＊マザーボードに合った、メモリ規格のものを購入する必要があります

他には、各種OverClockによって強制的に基本性能を上げる方法もありますが
保障が利かなくなり、再起不能の故障するなど危険ですので
自己責任において注意深く行ってください。
＊OCに成功しても、耐久性・安定性は確実に落ちています

この他には簡単な順に、システム（C）ドライブのデフラグ・不要なソフトの削除
・各種高速化ツール導入・レジストリの最適化・OSの再インストール等があります

強化ツールに関しては雑誌等に多く載っていますので、PCコーナーへどうぞ
＊くれぐれもBuckUp取るなど最低限の準備を自己責任において行ってください


◆延命改造・機能付加では、拡張カード・ドライブ等の取り付けよって行います。

必要に応じて、足りない機能を強化していけば延命可能です。
（追加パーツは、新マシン導入時に換装する等可能です）

基本的には、USB2,0拡張カードでポート数を増やすが始まりかと思います。

ドライブ関係で大きな動きがありましたので追記しておきます

HDDに関しては、価格が120GB 9000円　160GB 11000円　が相場になり
スペックも、1プラッタが60GBから80GB 回転数が5400RPMから7200RPM
キャッシュが2MBから8MB　に変動します（2004年第1期）

Driveに関しては、DVDDriveの低価格化と多機能化が進みました
DVD 2種対応10000円、4・5種対応：13000円程度で購入可能になり
高速型の8倍速書き込み対応モデルでも16000円で購入可能になりました
