明日は、慶應義塾大学矢上祭

明日は、矢上祭です。

っといっても、慶應義塾大学の学生か教員関係者でないと（でも？）
ご存知無いかもしれませんので、補足させて戴きます。

矢上祭とは,慶應義塾大学の理工学部の矢上キャンパスで行われる大学祭のことです。

日時；2005年10月15日（土）・16日（日）
場所；慶應義塾大学矢上キャンパス（東急東横線 日吉駅より徒歩10分）

今年で6年目を迎える矢上祭ですが、理工学部主催の大学祭ということでお祭りというよりも
ある種の研究発表会・講演会といった雰囲気で、数十万人を呼ぶ日本最大の大学祭
慶應義塾大学「三田祭」に比べるとささやかな感じがします。
（因みにＳＦＣ（>慶應義塾大学・環境情報学部他）：慶応・湘南藤沢キャンパスでは、
　独自にホームカミングパーティーを行っています。）


大学祭というと、華やかなイベントや著名人の講演会、屋台などのエンターテイメント系が
目立っていますが、キャンパス内の教室ではいろいろな研究の公開などもなされていて
「真面目？」な内容にも触れることが出来て意外に面白いかもしれません。

超多忙な安西塾長の率直なロングインタビューが掲載されていましたので
読んでみると面白いかもです。


慶應義塾大学の理工学部は、規模はそれほど大きくない（１学年1000人程度）ですが、
文部科学省が推進する「21世紀ＣＯＥプログラム（大学研究重点強化）」に
東京大学・京都大学・東京工業大学等に次いで多く参加するなど、研究も盛んです。

また、インターネットでは、世界で13機しかない「ルートサーバ」を管理し
日本全体のＷＥＢを支える等情報系にも強く、今回の大学祭でも面白そうなことを
やるかも知れないみたいです。


ただ、矢上祭の知名度に関しては・・・・
検索エンジンの検索結果でも、ＨＰで取り上げられることがどれほど少ないか・・・

う〜ん　もう少し取り上げられても良いのではと思うのですが
開催時期が大学祭シーズン一月前といこともあり・・・

とりあえず、編集人は「慶応矢上祭」に行ってみることにします。
